For years people were saying I’m full of crap. I thought it was because I was young...(kidding). Apparently, it’s because I was farting all the time and backed up more than Orlando traffic at rush hour. The purpose of this blog is to let you know that if you don’t take care of your constipation problem now, by the time you’re 50 years old you’ll be full of tumors in your colon. So, take the advice I’m about to give you VERY seriously. For your colon’s sake. In today’s day, most people are chronically dehydrated, so their poop is hard and rough while coming out (sounds painful right?). It is.
Where does constipation come from? Let’s say you drink plenty of high-quality SPRING water every day, you can still become constipated if you don’t eat enough of the right foods or if you don’t stop eating too much of the wrong foods. Constipation comes from dehydration and lack of fiber in your system to help “move” those foods out of you.
What are the right foods? The right foods to ease your “stool” essentially are plants and vegetables (because of the fiber, high mineral content, and water in them). The wrong foods include anything that causes inflammation or that’s been processed. See my previous blog, entitled, “How An Inflamed Gut Means Back Pain”.
When you don’t drink the right water you will remain chronically dehydrated. For instance, if you drink overly purified water your system will reject it because it doesn’t recognize it as water. This will cause you to become dehydrated from all that urinating. Constipation is largely a dehydration issue. If you drink more spring water you won’t have these issues. I will write on the water soon enough.
Plus, if your body becomes inflamed it can basically cause your spine and bones to shrink amongst a host of other problems. What happens when you eat the wrong foods or too little of the right ones?
It can make your poop stink super bad (like foul dying animal bad), so forget a love life….in addition, it adds to your acidic environment and clogs up your colon. “You are what you eat, and you are what your food eats”, Paul Chek said. So, eat foods that are more nutrient-dense and fiber-rich, and drink more spring water. Basically nature’s foods. Not man-made garbage. Your butthole will thank you, I promise.
What will happen if it becomes a chronic problem down the road? The main reason why you want to take care of this issue now is that eventually if this becomes a chronic problem it will only be a matter of time before you develop a toxic colon. This usually results in….colon cancer. It’s way more prevalent than you think.
“Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in both men and women. In 2017, there will be an estimated 95,520 new cases of colon cancer and 39,910 cases of rectal cancer diagnosed in the United States" (1). Colon cancer is a slow and (very) painful death. If that’s not enough leverage for you to start taking this “crap” seriously then I don’t know what is. If you are clogged and not pooping you can develop colon cancer. You want a life full of pleasure and there are few things more satisfying than a nice poop.
In conclusion, drink HIGH-QUALITY SPRING WATER and eat more BETTER FOODS and most of your crappy problems will take care of themselves, literally.
